Paul Smith, the founder of Traveling Massage, got his start in massage in 1996, after training at the National Holistic Institute. Since then, he's practiced and taught massage in Sweden, Maui, and Mexico, and currently, the Northern California Bay Area. Having worked in environments ranging from exclusive spas to large scale events, with a current emphasis on his private practice and company on-site massage, he's got the flexibilty to meet all your massage needs.

His massages integrate several styles, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Cross Fiber (excellent for tech fatigued forearms, desk weary legs and hips) Acupressure, Trigger Point (finding and releasing pent-up, knotted areas) and Reflexology. PNF Stretches can also be used to release current and frequent areas of restricted motion. Paul can take things much deeper by adding Hot Stone massage, where he uses them to both melt chronically tight spots and as tools to dig deeper, with a sensitivity that only 8+ years experience brings, making for an unforgettable experience. Paul hosts monthly gatherings of Massage Therapists, and it is from this 600+ member association that he recruits the highly skilled staff of Traveling Massage, all the while expanding his own skills set, improving the massages you'll receive.
