When my car is in Idle my engine vibrates a little bit, when I press on the gas the vibrating stops?

When I'm at a stop light with my foot on the break the engine makes a vibrating sound not too loud os a sound but eloud enough for me to notice the sound but when the light turns green and I press on the gas the sound stops. Does anyone know what the problem can be? I drive a 1998 Mercedes Benz E320

It could be ticking over too slowly or perhaps a valve is not seating properly and there is a slight misfire on tickover.Check the engine compression first of all and if ok then tune your car up.
